Michelle Hanson, the owner of Flutter Boutique, has always had a fascination with fashion. She has worked in the fashion industry in locations from Miami to Barcelona, learning the trade inside and out.
After moving to Minneapolis she met the man she would marry, Matt, got engaged and set out to plan the perfect wedding. To have the perfect wedding, she needed to find the perfect bridesmaid dresses. Her goals were set high, since she knew she wanted something fashionable yet elegant, and she wanted her best friends to wear the dresses again. So the search began. She ended up falling in love with designers that were not available in the Twin Cities. Given the hip culture and style of Minneapolis and St. Paul, she believed other brides would be interested in having access to these top designers locally. So she decided to bring them here and Flutter was born.
In addition to great fashion, Michelle also wanted to bring a unique boutique experience to Minneapolis.
